2018 Update Chat
4-20-2018 - Today I took a look at this skin and decided to do two things. First, I want to widen the skins size from 835 pixels to 960 pixels. Second, I want to go over the CSS coding to see if any old coding methods need to be updated given the changes to CSS over the past eight years.
I will not delete old graphics since there may be someone who is currently using this skin and the chance of messing them up wouldn't be right in my mind.

Re: 2018 Update Chat
How cool is this? The new shell graphic is over 58% smaller in file size than the original.

Re: 2018 Update Chat
The "border-radius" CSS did not exist in 2010, so Josh drew each curve by hand (including any borders he wanted to use on the curves).
Now we have a better way to do the curves. I am duplicating the pattern design he used inside of his hand-drawn borders and curves. Then I use the "border" and "border-radius" declarations to replicate the effect he achieved.

Re: 2018 Update Chat
I am using percentages to determine the new width of the design elements used in the skin. So far I have done the "title box" widths.
Does it look right (compared to the original screenshot)?

Re: 2018 Update Chat
I am using the linear-gradients where I can and using graphic images in other places. The CSS border-radius declaration has allowed my use of smaller pictures than Josh used to accomplish the same thing he did in the original skin.
I am still working on the homepage as I end my efforts for the day.

Re: 2018 Update Chat
Whew, I had a time-consuming challenge this morning while editing Josh's new/nonew images. Neither of us was very good when it came to drawing consistent curves back in 2010. Thankfully, CSS was able to give me a better curve than either of us ever managed to achieve on our own.

Re: 2018 Update Chat
Note to self: I am changing the background color on linear-gradients to alter the appearance of the resulting image. Hex code #696969 lightens the visual image. Hex code #4c4c4c darkens the visual image.
